Hide Oshiro, a 100-year-old Japanese artist, just donated his works to Goddard College. A painter, poet, book maker and illustrator from Newburgh, NY, he felt compelled to give hundreds of pieces of his art to the college. “The whole nature is breathing: the sun, the earth, the whole nature is breathing together,” he said. … “When you realize this, you come to maturity,” he said.
