I Believe: ‘The impulse to live more lightly on the Earth is neither political nor elitist’: Graduate Jenny Gundy

Jenny Gundy, who graduated last year in the Environmental Studies concentration on IMA, recently wrote an essay for the Burlington Free Press on living in greater balance with the earth. She calls for a more inclusive transition to green living, writing, “Perhaps by ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate in the emerging green economy, we can begin to see that sustainability is for all.” She teaches the roots of success environmental literacy curriculum for Vermont Adult Learning and the Community College of Vermont in Winooski.
